Disability Consulting
- focuses on ensuring that the language used is disability-affirming, in a historical, political, and (Canadian/US) cultural context.
I offer several services, including
- fiction and non-fiction general review of disability, chronic illness, and neurodiversity,
- policy review and policy writing,
- inclusive language review with a focus on disability, chronic illness, and neurodiversity,
- authenticity reading on disability, chronic illness, and neurodiversity, and
- public speaking.
Accessibility Services
- focus on ensuring that disabled readers, as well as those with accessibility needs and those requiring accommodations, are able to interact as fully as possible with the document.
I offer various services to help you reach various accessibility goals for your document and/or web copy, including
- plain language,
- Alt Text, and
- document structure.

Disability Consulting and Accessibility Services Rates
I provide the abovementioned accessibility services at different price points depending on requirements. Typically, this will be approximately $50 CAD per hour.

Disability Consulting and Accessibility Services Terms and Conditions
- All rates are quoted in CAD.
- Upon receipt of documents, a contract will be sent to the Client, which must be signed prior to commencing work.
- This contract will establish scope of work, expectations, and timelines.
- A 50% deposit must be sent via e-transfer or PayPal prior to the Editor commencing work.
- The remaining 50% will be due upon receipt of Editor invoice prior to completed work being released.
